Description
Crassula tetragona is a succulent species characterized by its slender, green leaves, resembling almost needle-like structures, arranged in distinct pairs along erect, decumbent, or prostrate stems. This plant typically reaches heights of up to 3.3 feet (1 m), adopting a shrubby or tree-like form, hence its common moniker. The leaves measure up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length and 0.12 inches (0.3 cm) in diameter. Initially fleshy, the stems gradually develop a woody texture with aging, featuring a brownish bark and retaining old leaves along their length.
In the spring and summer seasons, Crassula tetragona adorns itself with clusters of white to cream-colored flowers, tightly packed on elongated peduncles.
